Fall is in the air! Here is a great recipe for the whole family. You can use extras for your lunches during the week.
Ingredients
- 5 bell peppers (I use a variety of red, orange, yellow, green)
 - 1lb ground turkey or grass-fed beef
 - 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
 - ½ cup chicken broth
 - Italian seasoning to taste
 - garlic powder to taste
 - salt and pepper to taste
 
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
 - Brown meat; drain grease.
 - While meat is cooking, cut peppers in half and remove seeds. Place in a greased 9×13 pan.
 - Add tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to meat mixture. Cook until warm
 - Scoop meat mixture into peppers
 - Sprinkle peppers with cheese.
 - Cover with foil and cook for 35 minutes. Uncover and spoon broth on the bottom of pan onto peppers. Cook for 10 more minutes.
