Coach G’s Nutrition Corner: Baby Steps…

 

 

It happens all the time, someone decides that they will make an immediate and drastic change to improve their health and/or fitness. All too often these changes are sudden and extreme, making them very challenging to adhere and even more challenging to complete. A better way to see improvements in health is to make small, manageable changes that can be compounded over time. We all feel great when we set a goal and reach it, so let us use that positive reinforcement to continue making changes. I plan to expand on several topics in the future, but I want to get the foundation set. I want you all to think small before you think big. Focus on what is right in front of you before you think about later in the day, tomorrow, or a month from now. Let’s plan to own the moment we are in and worry about the future when we get there.
