Bodyweight Exercise Snapshot: Side Planks

Side Plank Description

Regular planks are great, now step up your core game with side planks!

Side Plank Steps:

1.      Lie on your side propped up on your forearm, legs straight

a.      Modification easier: Keep your bottom knee on the ground

b.      Modification harder: Hold the top leg up

2.      Push tall out of the shoulder, pressing the elbow into the ground

3.      Raise your hips off the ground and hold for a given amount of time

4.      Start with at least 15 seconds and build up to 1 minute
