Hand Release Push Up Description

This variation to regular push ups has a HUGE impact. Adding the hand release forces you to re-engage your core musculature before leaving the ground, avoiding the dreaded sagging middle section that plagues so many push ups!

 

Hand Release Push Up Steps:

  1. How To: 1.      Start in regular push up position: hands under shoulders, up on the toes or knees

    2.      Lower your body down to the ground, keeping the elbows in 45 degrees or more

    3.      Briefly raise your hands off the ground

    4.      Push back up, keeping the core tight and elbows in
